Transformative Innovations

Mega events are set to draw multitudes of tourists to the region. And when they visit, their expectations will extend beyond efficiency and security in public facilities and airports. They seek entertainment, excitement and experience. How can government agencies and transport operators meet such increasingly-sophisticated demands? Easy: with AudioVisual (AV) and Experiential Communications.

InfoComm Middle East & Africa 2017

This December, explore the latest technologies that can help you rethink public as well as transport services. Over 100 exhibiting companies from more than 20 countries are set to showcase on the exhibition floor – get to see the brainchildren of brands such as Arthur Holm, Aviss LLC, DigiBird, Evoko and Extron Electronics. Among the over 100 names, many are first-time exhibitors who will bring new surprises to the show. There will also be a vast array of solutions making their first appearances in the region via InfoComm Middle East & Africa.

Read on and discover how InfoComm Middle East & Africa exhibitor PNY Technologies and its solutions have helped to enhance the airport experience.

PNY Technologies

Like all major airports worldwide, Vienna Airport is always looking for ways to make the passenger experience more appealing. Turning to PNY Technologies, Vienna Airport installed a bank of 120 high-definition monitors to display advertisements as high-resolution graphics as well as captivating full-motion video. The airport also installed an ARS Electronica interactive art project called “ZeitRaum”, which uses about 100 graphic processing units to power up a wall of screens to create, whenever anyone walks close to the wall, a virtual snow shower of letters that trickle down the wall, turn into words, and then form the topography of a landscape.
